Dinosaur Discovery Weekend, July 20th and 21st 2024
One of the most popular events at Dublin Zoo, Ranger Dan and his Dino friends are back and bringing dino-mite activities to the Zoo on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July.
This is a great weekend for Zoo explorers to become Dino Adventurers and take part in themed activities, including the opportunity to watch a live Dino egg hatch and to engage with mini dinos at a Baby Dino Petting Zoo.
Grandparents Go Free, July 22nd to July 26th 2024
There’s something for every generation at Dublin Zoo and from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th July, grandparents can avail of a ‘Grandparents Go Free*’ ticket offer. Experience the excitement of Dublin Zoo and create special family memories that will last a lifetime.

Carnival Weekend, July 27th and 28th 2024
Carnival fun comes to Dublin Zoo on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July.

Science Weekend, August 10th and 11th 2024
Families will have the opportunity to discover the wonders of science at Dublin Zoo’s Science Weekend on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th August.
Perfect for curious minds of all ages, over the weekend you can enjoy live science shows featuring exciting experiments and demonstrations and take part in themed crafts.
Eco Explorers Weekend, August 24th and 25th 2024
Eco Explorers Weekend, brought to you by our sustainability partner SSE Airtricity, returns to Dublin Zoo on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August.
Led by Pookie, our sustainability ambassador, the Eco Explorers weekend offers families a fun learning experience, focused on sustainable choices and actions. With Eco Rangers as a guide, families can take part in activities along the ten stop Eco Explorer Trail at Dublin Zoo, with prizes up for grabs.
