The ‘Champions for Conservation’ module is aimed at Third to Sixth class and will look at the threats facing our wildlife and what we can do to help.
Details
This 5-lesson, SESE curriculum-linked module includes:
– Two PowerPoint Lessons to prepare your class for their virtual visit
– A Virtual Tour Video to visit some animals at Dublin Zoo
– Differentiated worksheets to complete with the virtual tour video
– A follow-up live Q&A Zoom session for your class with a Dublin Zoo educator (All Q&As must be completed by 30th April 2022)
– An extension activities pack
– A teacher pack including all you need to deliver this 5-lesson module
We expect this module to take 2-3 weeks of classroom time (two 30-minute lessons per week).
Important
– Once payment is complete you will be sent all associated files within 48 hours (if purchased on Friday your files will be sent the next working day).
– All associated files sent are intended only for the purchaser. By purchasing this module you are entering into a contract with Dublin Zoo. The files are provided under the condition that they cannot be shared, copied or edited. Failure to adhere to this condition may lead to the termination of the contract and removal of access to all files.
– The Q&A must be booked directly with Dublin Zoo by emailing [email protected] (all Q&As must be completed by 30th April 2022 and are subject to availability). When booking your Q&A we recommend allowing 2-3 weeks for completion of modules.
– This ticket does not include entry to Dublin Zoo – the ticketing information generated after purchase is specific to tickets purchased for visits to the Zoo. The ticket purchased is for proof of purchase of the Virtual Primary Programme only and can only be used to gain access to the files associated with the module.
– Annual passes cannot be used against this purchase.
– Tickets non-transferable.
