Conservation Lecture | From Elephants to Sharks: Exploring Unique Conservation Strategies

Join us at Dublin Zoo on 21st November 2024 for the next event in our exciting Conservation Lecture Series.
Conservation takes a wide variety of forms depending on the needs of the target species and the communities living alongside them. In this lecture, Brandon Farrelly, an Educator in Dublin Zoo’s Conservation Education Department, will discuss unique conservation strategies implemented to protect Asian elephants in Sri Lanka and bronze whaler sharks and African penguins in South Africa, while also comparing strategies utilised to protect similar species in other parts of the world in both in-situ and ex-situ settings.
Location: Discovery and Learning Theatre at Dublin Zoo.
