We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to assist our team during a very exciting time at Dublin Zoo. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing marketing campaigns, enhancing our communications, and supporting visitor engagement.
The Marketing Executive will work across a variety of areas to support the Zoo’s marketing and communications strategy.
Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
- Managing updates and content on the Dublin Zoo website, ensuring accuracy and user-friendliness.
- Collaborating with internal teams to publish engaging blog posts that align with Dublin Zoo’s conservation and educational objectives.
- Assisting in planning and scheduling social media content across platforms to engage followers and promote events.
- Ensuring the Dublin Zoo brand remains consistent and strong in all Dublin Zoo communications.
- Monitoring social media channels, responding to comments and inquiries to maintain a positive online presence.
- Supporting the creation and distribution of press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of on-site events, including launches, themed activities, and seasonal celebrations.
- Coordinating marketing activations to promote events and campaigns, ensuring high-quality visitor engagement.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and deliver creative campaigns that increase visitor numbers and awareness of Dublin Zoo’s mission.
- Working with external vendors and agencies to produce promotional materials and advertisements.
- Acting as an additional point of contact for marketing-related vendors if necessary, enabling the team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare and distribute marketing briefs, timelines, and reports to stakeholders.
- Providing support for the development and execution of Zoo collateral such as annual reports, strategy documents and newsletters.
- Maintain organised records of marketing activities and materials.
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks as needed.
