Snow leopard and Avian Influenza 2021
Avian Influenza 2021
Animal safety and welfare is paramount at Dublin Zoo. Due to some bird-flu outbreaks across the country, Dublin Zoo have followed advice from the Department of Agriculture and moved a number of birds to off-show areas within the Zoo. The birds which cannot be seen at present include the Chilean flamingos, waldrapp ibis, ostrich, little egret, peafowl, citron-crested cockatoo and Indian runner duck.
This measure has been taken to ensure the well-being and safety of birds at Dublin Zoo.
