New Penguin habitat

Thursday, 25 March 2010

Dublin Zoo has just launched the new Penguin Habitat which is sponsored by McVitie’s Biscuits. The new habitat mirrors the natural environment for Humboldt penguins in their native South America. Oversized Donegal sandstone and many tonnes of sand reflects the natural rocky coastal habitat of these much-loved penguins.

As part of this exciting project, McVitie’s also sponsored the brand new small playground beside the habitat. Parents can take a rest while children enjoy a number of large 3D Penguins and capture those fun family moments with the Penguin photo cut – out stand.
